I only got this cover a couple of days ago, but it is exactly what I was looking for. Was a little worried about ordering from Walmart because I has seen the quality of the covers they had in store and knew they wouldn't last long. I read positive review after positive review and decided that many people couldn't be wrong. I have an '05 Honda Rebel, so its a small cruizer and this cover fits like a glove. The elastic around the bottom ensures a good fit and there is pleanty of room to manuver the cover over the windshield and handlebar mirrors. The hooks at the bottom ensure the wind doesnt blow it away. The carrying case makes it possible to load it on the bike and travel with it as well. The construction is top notch, heavy material, yet lightweight over all. Very easy for one person to work with. It comes with built in heat shields and vents . The reflective strips are a nice touch as well. Take a look at the pics to see how it fits my bike
I was going to get a dealer cover with the Logo embroidered on it but the cost was almost $200. I just wanted to cover my bike in the garage for the winter. Saw this cover on E-bay and it was almost $30 more than Walmart. The cover is great. Got the XL size due to bike size. Well made materials and the elastic bottom will insure that it won't come off (even if I ever keep the bike outside in wind and the elements). Plus it looks just as good as the Dealer cover (I don't need to advertise what I have when it's under wraps).
I didnt expect much from this, as I didnt want to spend much. The product turned out to be better than any other motorcycle cover that I have seen so far. It fits my SV650 like a glove and seems like it would fit any other sports bike in the same way. The cover has vents to allow air flow and reduce moisture. The tie downs are useful when it gets windy. The cover has heat insulated patches on both sides about where the exhaust goes for most bikes. This is great cuz you dont have to wait for the bike to cool down and not melt the fabric. Overall, disregarding the super-low price, I havent found a better motorcycle cover yet.
I went over alot of the reviews on this thing..and the most thing that botherd me about readin is if it was (water proof)..i jus brought this home today and it came a big storm...i had NO PROBLEMS at all..the water even puddled up ...needless to say this is NOT high dollar piece of paper as i had read in another review..its actually made of good quiality and would recomend it to anyone out there that dont have a garage or shed to put there bike in....I have a Honda NighHawk with windshield..crusier/sport 102'L x 46' W x 62' H..is what i got and it fits perfect!
I have an '86 Goldwing Interstate touring bike. This is a big bike with all the saddle bags, "trunk", etc. If anything both the photo above and the description do NOT do justice to this product. The construction is flawless and totally covers the bike. There is also a nice little hook thangy you can hook under the bike to help "keep it on" in windy conditions I suppose. I'd buy another one tomorrow.
I purchased this cover on line, shipping was fast. Its seems to be good cover for the money I cover my Electra glide under the car port with it, I purchased the 108 inch and it fits perfect. I just wish it had one more tie down in the front and one in the back and it would be perfect. I am not sure that I would leave it in a snow storm with only this cover but for dust and rain and not advertising what's under the cover its worth it. Ride safe
Directions to install need a little more clarification. You can't unroll the cover as it is rolled up in the carrier. It must be turned 90° and then unrolled. After twisting cover around it fit well and went on easily. Looks were good. This is my first cover and just installed so I don't know how well it will work.
I was pleased by the heavy Codura material used. The last ones I purchased from Wal-Mart were thinner and more suceptable to "sail effect" when the wind blew. This is really beefy and resists ballooning in the wind and hugs the bike. My only complaint is that it is a bit short and does not fully cover my wheels/tires.
The front does not stay over the front wheel, but so far it's been pretty windy and the cover has stayed on. I have only had this for a month, so we will see how well it holds up over the winter. Much less expensive than covers at the dealer, or anywhere else for that matter. Site 2store delivery was fast (it arrived on black Friday, and I was able to pick it up that day with no hassle).
The cover seems to fit fine on my Triumph Bonneville. However, the box came in destroyed from FedEx. Lots of tape, big hole in the side, looked like a returned cover. But,,,,I waited so long and it looked OK, I kept it. I don't even know if it is the right one in the box, as the box was so taped up it looked like it could have been returned to WalMart a dozen times.
